Gary Rose · Film & video production
Stories, told with care.
Trauma-informed documentary filmmaking for charities, public services and researchers working with people at difficult moments.

More than filming
Storytelling carries responsibility.
We build calm, respectful filming environments where contributors feel safe, heard and valued — particularly in settings involving trauma, homelessness, recovery and lived experience.
Dignity comes before drama. Human connection before performance.
A considered process
Calm before the camera. Care after the cut.
Listen first
We understand contributors, context and your organisation’s aims before a camera is switched on.
Film carefully
We create a low-pressure environment, communicate clearly and let people retain agency throughout.
Edit intentionally
We shape footage with emotional honesty while protecting dignity, nuance and context at every cut.
Selected work
Films with a human centre.
Campaign, recruitment and impact films made with organisations doing meaningful work.

Small crew. Close attention.
Rose Tinted Media is led by filmmaker Gary Rose in Corby, Northamptonshire, working across the UK. The approach is collaborative, unobtrusive and shaped around the needs of each contributor and organisation.
That means clear preparation, realistic schedules and a set that never asks someone to perform their experience for the camera.
We can discuss safeguarding, consent, contributor care and practical production needs before you commit.
